Paul Wong got 'unplugged' and everyone stayed the night

Pw_unpluggedCue Up was a buzz last Thursday night (September 27) when Paul Wong presented about ten of his recent video projects and works in progress. A week later, his images are still interrupting me. The views he shared were close to the body and persistent in their concern for community. It was moving and inspiring...that is an understatement. It is great to have Paul Wong hanging around VIVO again. Thank you for last week's generosity, Paul. Especially, thank you for sticking around and giving newer video producers some feed back. I have started a photo album (see left column). More photos of the event are to come.

Screening from the audience after Wong's presentation were the following:

Jeremy Isad Speir, Oratory, DVD, we saw an excerpt of about 15:00
Brian Kent Gotro, Mouth Trick and The Notion of Self, 10:00 (both on miniDV)
Laura Lee Coles, Air Light Sound, 4:30, miniDV
Cory Bildstein, Untitled, 4:40, DVD
